What is the [om] opener event?
This project is a series of 5 posters for an event done by Otter Media. The event was titled "[OM] Opener Event" and was a event hosting bands and musical performers from California State University Monterey Bay. These posters were created after the event had already happened for a class.
Rationale and Early Designs
Through these posters I wanted to design something that would reflect a "grungy" yet "energetic" poster that would hook passerby through the use of clean text and a distorted half tone image.
Each artist poster includes a short bio about the artist, as well as their Spotify code link for passerby to scan and listen to their music. The background pictures and color schemes are from the artists brand identity through their album art and their social media platforms.
